 The %90 cause of global warming is people. the climate conference of BM announced it's fourth assesment report about climate changes today.In report , it was stated that the heat of world will be rising between 1,8 and 4 degree until 2100.
The president of BM's environment program,Achin steiner's report which has been expecting for a long time was got to the result that global warming occurs because of human activity with more than %90 possibilities. Steiner said that this indication should be concluded the arguments of what makes way for the heat which increases last 50 years. According to last BM report which was prepared in 2001 the responsibility of people in global warming was stated roughly %70. Five minutes darkness protest : before the report was announced ,the protest which includes five minutes darkness was made with French group's leadership who runs struggle company. The Eifel tower was in dark for five minutes. In protest which was held between 20.55 and 21.00 with TSI , The Eifel tower was plunged into darkness which is illuminated with 20 thousand bulb. After the protest was made all around the France , the electric company recorded 800 megawatt decrease which is %1 of normal consumption. Some capital cities of europe supported this protest symbolicly. The light bulbs of Kolezyum and Capitol which are the most important historical monuments in rome and in madrid the bulbs of Puerta de Alcala were switched off. In athenian , a good number of government building's light bulbs were switched off. But some experts who oppose to protest are saying that the electric which will switch off and switch on in five minutes time creates more problems than constantly illuminating lumps. What does the report include? The report of BM which sums up the point which science comes to aims at forming a document which governments consider basicly when they define their new government policy in the changes of climate which is seen one of the most threat problems in our times. One of the most controversial subject in assemblies which were held in Paris was how much rise will be expected in the level of sea water. in the last report of 2001 BM's panel which was about climate changes ,it was guessed that there will be rise in the level of sea about 140cm at the last of this century. it is immensely anxiety given number. In new report , it is said that the sea level will increase between 18 and 59 cm and the rise which will be formed by the glacier's melting in antartica and grönland is emphasized not to overlook. Grönland is losing 40 kilometreküp ice in every 40 hours.This is equal with the water consumption in developed countries like los angeles which has almost 3-4 million population.
